"Be Prepared" has endured as a Girl Scout motto throughout the years. Girls who become prepared today are better able to face challenges and opportunities life may present them tomorrow.

You can help ensure girls are prepared for the future by participating in the Council’s Planned Giving program. In addition to supporting the future of Girl Scouting, these gift plans produce tax savings and real estate planning benefits for the donor. The Council's planned giving program provides a number of giving options, including: endowment gifts, bequests, charitable trusts, insurance and real estate.

  • Make a bequest to the Girl Scout Council of Southeast Louisiana in your will
  • Name the Council as a beneficiary in a new or existing life insurance policy
  • Include the Girl Scout Council of Southeast Louisiana in a charitable trust or gift annuity.
