Council Annual Meeting
The final and historic Annual Meeting for the Girl Scout Council of Southeast Louisiana is set for Saturday, March 15, at 10 a.m., in the Council Service Center's Training Center. The annual Adult Recognition Breakfast precedes the meeting at 8:30 a.m.
At the Annual Meeting, Southeast Louisiana Council delegates will vote on the Council Realignment Committees' report and recommendations which include articles of incorporation, Council (Girl Scouts Louisiana East) by-laws, the new combined board of directors, and cover other business matters pertinent to the Southeast Louisiana council and the new realigned Council, which goes into effect on the first day of its existence, April 1, 2008.

Delegate Caucuses
Delegate Caucuses have been scheduled for February 19, 20, and 21 across the Council.
Section B, C (Westbank) & D: Tuesday, February 19, 7 p.m., Girl Scout Council Service Center conference room, 841 S. Clearview Parkway, Jefferson
Section C (Bayou): Wednesday, February 20, 6:30 p.m., First United Methodist, 6109 Hwy 311, Houma
Section A: Thursday, February 21, 6 p.m., Covington Elementary School cafeteria, 325 S. Jackson St., Covington
Adult Recognition Breakfast
Each year the Girl Scout Council of Southeast Louisiana recognize our outstanding volunteers at an Adult Recognition Breakfast, prior to the Annual Meeting. The Annual meeting (from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.) is being preceded by the Adult Recognition breakfast from 8:30 - 10 a.m. The breakfast menu includes scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage links, breakfast potatoes, biscuits, croissants/danish/muffins, fresh fruit salad, and orange juice, and costs $10, with the exception of those being honored. Please RSVP by completing the breakfast reservation form and paying by March 7. Seating is limited.
