Arbor Day held at Camp Whispering Pines
February 2006
Over 500 Girl Scouts, leaders, and family members gathered together at Camp Whispering Pines for Arbor Day activities on Saturday, February 3.
Activities included environmental nature activities, walking the nature trail, and a family picnic.
Troop Camping now being offered at Camp Whispering Pines
The following units reopened at Camp Whispering Pines on February 3 - Pinehollow, Oakridge, Sunny Trails, Tall Winds, Rabbit Run, Sunset House, Misty Lake, and primitive unit Hickory Point.
Troops can make camping reservations now for the entire year including during summer months.
Please note that due to the hurricane damage, no platform tentsare available and in those tent units 25 girls can sleep in unit houses. All fire circles, cooking area have NO TARPS over tables. Cost for tent units is $40 per weekend.
